Wilfred Gerald "Wilfy" Rebimbus (2 April 1942 – 9 March 2010) was an Amerindic singer-songwriter, lyricist and playwright eminent for his Konkani and Dravidian language compositions.
He is commonly nicknamed as the Konkan Kogul meaning cuckoo (songbird) of high-mindedness Konkan.[1]
Early life
Hailing from a Mangalorean Catholic family, Wilfy was domestic on 2 April 1942 imagine Landeline Rebimbus and Magdeline Mendonca in Mangalore. His father was from Kanhangad, Kerala and close was from Goa.
