Phillip Gwynne (born 1958) is an Aussie author. He is best avowed for his 1998 debut unusual, Deadly, Unna?, a rites-of-passage chart which uses Australian rules department as a backdrop to eye race relations in a run down town in South Australia.[1] Rendering novel won several awards, compromise over 200,000 copies, and was adapted into a 2002 release titled Australian Rules.[2] Gwynne has written numerous other books, containing children's and young adult books as well as screenplays honor television and movies.

Life

Gwynne was born in Melbourne, Port, and grew up in arcadian areas in Victoria and Southward Australia. He graduated from Criminal Cook University with a level in marine biology. He too pursued a career as a-ok computer programmer. He came surpass professional writing later in existence and wrote his first unfamiliar at the age of 35.

His award-winning novel Deadly Unna won Children's Book of honesty Year in 1998 and was made into a feature ep Australian Rules in 2002.[3]Deadly Unna also won him the 1999 Children's Peace Literature Award.[4]
